Nickie Brockhoff is a mom of 2 and nonprofit consultant who specializes in creating strong policy driven, fiscally responsible organizations.
Her 20 year career extends across operations, programming, board governance, strategic planning and community building. She has consistently transformed struggling nonprofits into viable and effective organizations.
Nickie is the owner of Kalexa Consulting, a business that specializes in community association management. She partners with boards of directors to create community associations that have strong policies with an emphasis on fiscal responsibility. Nickie is solution driven and continually striving to find the best way forward for her organizations.
In her spare time, Nickie is an active volunteer. She is either running community soccer programming, organizing community events or is the Calgary based Youth Engagement coordinator for Curling Canada, first for the 2024 Scotties Tournament of Hearts and next for the Women’s World Curling Championships.
She believes that strong communities are best when we look after our most vulnerable. This builds the foundation of a safe and inclusive city. She is passionate about building the connections that include everyone.
